Wooden floors
When cleaning wooden floors a great product to use is Murphy Oil Soap. First sweep or vacuum the floor to remove all dust and hair. Next get a bucket with a gallon of water. Put ¼ of a cup of Murphy Oil Soap in the bucket of water. For tougher jobs or very big spaces you can put in ½ a cup of Murphy Oil Soap. Get a clean mop and you are ready to mop your wooden floors. Make sure you mop up any excess water as you go. Remember to keep pets away in a safe place.
Grout
Cleaning grout may seem like a tough job but it is a job worth doing. First you should sweep and mop the floor. To mop the floor you can use liquid soap. Just add a spoon of liquid soap to a bucket of warm water. While mopping make sure the water in the bucket doesn’t get too dirty. If it does just empty the bucket and refill it with clean water. If the floor gets too sticky after it dries it may be because you used too much soap. Next step is too get a small grout brush and heavy-duty cleaner. Apply the cleaner to the grout and start scrubbing. You should see a change immediately. After that rinse with warm water. When cleaning the floor try to work in sections. Complete cleaning one section of the floor before moving on to the next. When cleaning grout you can use a bleaching cleanser but avoid mixing it with other ammonia based cleaning products. Try not to use bleach frequently when cleaning grout because it can break down the grout.
Soap Scum
If you don’t take care of that soap scum or that gray ring around your tub it will get worse. Soap scum tends to build up over time. You can use store bought tub cleaner. Spray it on the scum and leave it for a couple of minutes. Then get a brush and start scrubbing. Rinse well with water.
For an alternative in cleaning soap scum you can use ammonia and vinegar.
First mix a cup of ammonia with two cups of water. Squirt on affected area and wipe clean. Then warm up two cups of vinegar in the microwave. Spray on affected area and leave it for 2 min. Use a rag to wipe it off.
Removing food or drink stain from Carpet
Act quickly. Once you spilled the food or liquid on the carpet get paper towels or a rag to absorb as much of it as possible. Remove all debris such as food from the stain. Pat the paper towel or rag over stain, do not rub. Mix a drop of non-bleaching detergent or carpet shampoo with a liter of water. Stir well. Next moisten a clean rag with the solution and press it down over the stain. Set a dry paper towel or rag over stain. Put something heavy over it to hold down the rag or paper towel such as a heavy book. Let it set over night. If the stain is still there then its time to find a stain remover product. Before purchasing a stain remover make sure it is safe for your specific carpet. For example wool carpets can have a bad reaction to liquid stain removers. Always read the labels and directions.
Removing Coffee stain from Fabrics

Stainless Steel
Club soda or white vinigar can be used to clean stainless steal. Use a soft cloth with either club soda or vinigar to wipe down the stainless steel. If the steel has grease or grime on it apply a sprinkle of baking soda before starting the previous step. You can use baby oil to remove fingerprints. Wipe well with paper towel to give it a nice shine. Make sure not to use rough or abrasive cleaning pads because it will scratch the surface.
